How time flies when you are busy marketing
As a marketeer, I naturally track things and when you are coming up to a business birthday, it makes you stop and evaluate even more. Coo Marketing will be 6 an the end of April so it is a great time to take stock of the journey so far.
What have I learnt? Oodles:
Don't worry about what your competitors are doing. Just worry about your customers and what they want.
Marketing does not have to be difficult - but it does need to be consistent.
Take time to plan. Jumping from one new shiny object to the next is a waste of time.
Build relationships. You never know when they may blossom.
Enjoy the journey. You choose to be your own boss for a reason so you may as well enjoy the ride.
Be true to yourself and what you believe in. That way you will sleep well at night.
Look back and look forward in equal measures.
