I'm Claire,
Claire Nield, founder of Coo Marketing. For more than 25 years I’ve been helping businesses simplify their marketing, cut through the noise and focus on what works.
I began my career in FMCG marketing after studying to get a First Class Degree then Masters in Marketing. Before founding Coo Marketing, I worked on household brands including Vimto, Jeyes, Lotus Thirst Pockets and Disney consumer products.
Since then I’ve worked with businesses across a very wide range of sectors to build marketing strategies that deliver real results.
Along the way, I’ve supported brands through growth phases and helped business owners feel confident in their marketing decisions.
I started Coo Marketing in 2008 because I saw how many successful business owners were feeling overwhelmed by marketing. Too many ideas, too many channels and not enough clarity. My mission is to take that weight off your shoulders and give you a clear, simple marketing plan that gets results.
When you work with me, you work directly with an experienced marketing expert. I work with businesses across the UK and am based in Preston, Lancashire.
I’ll guide you through a proven process step by step, so you feel confident and in control of your marketing.

Who I work with....
I've done my time... I am an experienced marketing director with a proven history of applying marketing knowledge to grow brands strategically.
I am professional and strategic while practical and down to earth. I now work exclusively with nice people (ABSOLUTE NON NEGOTIABLE).
I rarely take on new clients as I prefer to focus on keeping my existing clients happy. Some I have had for over 18 years! I am always open to a quick chat though to see if I can point you in the right marketing direction.
Some facts about me...
My first marketing assignment was selling hair scrunchies that I had made to my class mates at primary school. I also sold plastic ring binder files but got into trouble for exploitation....
I studied, a lot. I've a First Class Degree in Marketing and Visual Studies, a post grad Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma and a Masters in Marketing.
On reflection to all my studies, I believe marketing is very simple. Get the right message to the right people at the right time.
I have been fortunate to travel and ticked off the Antarctic and Arctic Circle amongst many places between. Learning from new cultures floats my boat.
I like the simple life. Nature, yoga, walks, friends and family keep me content.
Entrepreneurs are my heroes. Big businesses, micro businesses and everything in between. We stepped into the arena my friends!
